Delete Account

You can delete your account and data at any time

DateEmber allows you to permanently delete your account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data.

How to Delete Your Account

Open DateEmber

Go to Profile

Tap Settings → Account

Tap "Delete Account"

Confirm the deletion
OPTION 2 By Email

Send a deletion request and we'll handle it within 7 business days.

What Happens to Your Data

  • Your profile, photos, and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Your messages are deleted within 7 days
  • Your Firebase Authentication account is deleted immediately
  • Some anonymised data may be retained for analytics
  • Safety and ban records may be retained for up to 5 years
⚠️

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your account and data cannot be recovered.
